Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Project Manager to join the Navy Reserve Readiness Module (NRRM) teams. This pivotal role requires an individual with strong leadership, communication and analytical skills, capable of managing complex projects and working collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving project outcomes, ensuring alignment with business strategies, and leading cross-functional teams in the delivery of Navy Reserve readiness initiatives.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving project outcomes, ensuring alignment with business strategies, and leading cross-functional teams in the delivery of Navy Reserve readiness initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Formulate schedules and project plans to align with strategic priorities, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze business systems and user needs, developing detailed documentation for program functions and development steps.
- Apply agile software development principles to deliver high-quality solutions in dynamic environments successfully.
- Mentor and coach team members, promoting professional growth and facilitating knowledge sharing.
- Provide expert consultation and leadership for complex projects, contributing to overall NRRM team success.
- Demonstrated knowledge and progress towards achieving PMP, with 5+ years of experience in project management, leadership, and military environments.
- Strong experience in planning, requirements development, and agile software development.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective solutions for complex challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to think critically and take initiative.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing both direct reports and matrix-style teams.
- Willingness and ability to mentor and coach others in a collaborative environment.

- PMP certification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project
- Experience supporting the Navy Reserve
- Knowledge of US Navy Readiness systems and reporting
- Experience using Azure DevOps to manage software development projects.
