Join our team! As a Systems Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services. You'll be developing complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms, ushering them from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and test using progressive tools. Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Subject matter expert in MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, DO-160, MIL-STD-3023 and MIL-STD-2169
- Good familiarity with HEMP, SREMP, and SGEMP
- Support overall system needs and act as a technical consultant in HEMP for design teams, management, and customers
- Ability to write, interpret, tailor, and flow down EMP requirements to all design levels.
- Demonstrate success in leading RF design projects from concept through production
- Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, MATLAB, Cameo or IMS
- Practical knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to requirements management, Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience or certification in MIL standards
- Ability to conduct cable and harness design analysis, Design chassis and harness shielding, select EMI filters, and designing interface circuitry for achieving EMI/EMP compliance.
- Familiarity with Transient Radiation Effects on Electronics, Thermal Flash, and blast/shock/overpressure effects.
- Versed in hardness assurance processes detailed in MIL-HDBK-814 through 817 and MIL-STD-1766
- Experienced in electrical design: Circuit design/simulation evaluations, circumvention and recovery methods, photocurrent transient protection mitigation
- Knowledgeable in environmental modeling and radiation transport analysis
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Ability to administer baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures
- Exposure to establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
- Active Top Secret clearance
