Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a professional, energetic Cloud Software Architect who has experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud-ready applications. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud strategy and architecture. You will work closely with our partners to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions that meet our business needs. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.
Note: Preference will be given to candidates in the NCR that can commute to Hanover, MD and be on-site 2 days a week.

Salary Range:
$117,000.00 - $210,600.00

What You'll Be Doing:
- Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures. Collaborate with development teams to ensure that cloud solutions align with business objectives and technical requirements
- Cloud Strategy Development: Develop and maintain the cloud strategy, including the evaluation of new technologies and services. Provide guidance on best practices for cloud adoption, migration, and optimization.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and design.
- Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and storage.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Active Top Secret clearance
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
