Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team! In this role, you will bring your collaborative working style and a strong sense of curiosity to engage the user community and design user experiences that ensure a positive user experience that increases community adoption.
Note: Preference will be given to candidates in the NCR that can commute to Hanover, MD and be on-site 2 days a week.

Salary Range:
$104,200.00 - $182,400.00

Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team! In this role, you will bring your collaborative working style and a strong sense of curiosity to engage the user community and design user experiences that ensure a positive user experience that increases community adoption.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Collaborate, influence, and negotiate with cross functional peers and executive stakeholders on defining and delivering compelling and useful products, based on a strong point of view of the product's evolution
- Champion a human-centered product development process with cross-functional stakeholders
- Engage user communities to research what capabilities are missing from their current toolset and work with the engineering and development teams to form those needs into actionable requirements
- Lead the development of User Personas, Journey Maps, and Product Dartboards, mock ups, interactive prototypes, and conduct usability testing on existing and proposed features
- Partner with cross functional stakeholders in the implementation and evolution of the product development lifecycle
- Present design solutions to partners and company executives, defend design decisions and incorporate feedback into the design cycle
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- B.A. in Visual Design or related degree
- 8+ years applicable experience
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and processes
- Strong sense of communication and writing skills
- 2+ years with at least 3 of the following technologies:
- Axure
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Angular JS
- ReactJS
- SharePoint
- Jira
- Confluence
- MS Power BI
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Leading a design team
- Experience working with DoD customers
- Experience in Web design
- Experience developing capabilities that are integrated within a standardized User Interface
