Position Summary
Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Configuration Manager to join our team. This is a full-time role at Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs, CO. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring software and hardware developed by Government contractors meets the Government specifications and will operate within the weapons system without degradation to the system. The Program Office supports and sustains five Space/Missile Defense (MD) and MW Upgraded Early Warning Radars (UEWRs) across North America and Europe, which provide early warning ballistic missile detection, acquisition, classification, and tracking of ballistic missile attack, 24-hours per day, 365 days per year. The radars are also capable of detecting, identifying, and tracking man-made objects in low-earth orbit.

Clearance: Must have an active DoD Secret clearance, eligible for TS/SCI and be able to maintain it.

Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Implement and oversee SWCM processes that includes Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Align, Bitbucket) and related applications (i.e. CheckMarx, Kubernetes, Docker, Fortify, Jenkins, Git, etc)
- Provide Software Configuration Management, Software Quality Assurance and Software Engineering support services in accordance with the programs Configuration Management Plan
- Define and implement processes, policies, and procedures to maintain proper version control of software products
- Evaluate program direction and assess impact on the configuration baseline throughout each phase of the acquisition process
- Review and analyze the Development/Sustainment Contractor's CM program and data deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Develop SWCM implementation strategy; identify required infrastructure and tools; and propose the baselines that will be managed
- Participate in change control boards and evaluate proposed changes
- Track configuration status of all baselined work products and authorized changes to those products
- Track Change Requests (CRs) and Discrepancy Reports (DRs)/Problem Reports (PRs)
- Ensure integrity of the baseline including major releases, minor releases, patches, and software maintenance
- Provide QA checks on system baselines
- Recommend and document comprehensive configuration management plans for software, hardware, firmware, and peripherals for test and operational systems
- Provide SWCM oversight within the Atlassian Tool suite
- Adequately identify data requirements in the Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objectives (SOO), and/or Performance Work Statement (PWS)
- Ensure compliance with EIA-649, DoDI 5230.24, DODD 5230.25, DoD 5010.12-M. DoD 5000.02-R, DFARS 252.227-7013, DFARS 252.227-7014, and ASSIST database
Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in related field and three (3) years of experience in the respective technical discipline.

- Experience producing release notes and CM reports
- Experience performing baseline administrative activities for multiple environments
- Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Experience in MS Office Suite software required
- Experience with team collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint, OneNote, etc)
Preferred Qualifications:

Additional experience:
- Configuration Management experience within the Department of Defense environment and standards including EIA-649
- Experience with Agile development methodologies & configuration management best practices
- Knowledgeable and/or proficient in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline environment
- Proven experience with SWCM tools, preferably Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Align, Bitbucket)
- Must have skills and experience necessary to work closely with program management, systems engineers, quality managers, and design engineers in an integrated product team environment
- Experience implementing processes, policies, and procedures to maintain proper version control of software products
- Experience tracking software configuration items and configuration status for software development & test environments in a DevSecOps mindset
- Experience managing configuration of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices
- Experience performing HW and SW configuration audits
- Experience performing the technical/administrative activities necessary to manage CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, and media labeling
