Job Summary:
The Senior Acquisition Program Manager will support the F-22 program office at Wright Patterson AFB, providing acquisition expertise and program management support. This role involves overseeing the performance of all task orders, working closely with the government program manager to establish project objectives, plans, and budgets, and assisting in the implementation of weapon system contractor performance status systems. The ideal candidate will also develop and integrate risk management plans, provide surveillance of contractor performance, and ensure program requirements are met.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall performance of all task orders assigned.
- Work closely with the government program manager in establishing project objectives, plans, and budgets.
- Assist in the implementation of weapon system contractor performance status systems.
- Provide assistance in developing and integrating risk management plans and strategies.
- Assist the program office in surveillance of weapon system prime contractor and subcontractor performance.
- Assist in determining program progress by providing feedback to the Government.
- Ensure program requirements and statements of work are captured and planned to the level of detail required for execution.
- Provide recommendations to ensure project information integrates into existing program strategy.
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, updating, and coordinating acquisition briefings.
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, updating, and coordinating various acquisition-related products/documents and support materials necessary for the life cycle management of the prescribed system.
- Provide support relating to updates to comprehensive F-22 planning for enterprise-wide use.
- Perform duties as team lead and supervisor.
Work Environment:
- Location: The position is an On-Site billet supporting the F-22 Program Office at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. Based on specific tasking, the customer does support a Hybrid schedule for both on-site and telework completion of tasking
- Travel Requirements: There will be minimal (up to 20%) travel associated with the position
- Working Hours: The working hours are a standard workday with core hours running from 0730 to 1630
Basic Qualifications:
- MS/MA is required with 6+ years of directly related experience, including a minimum of five years within the DoD, or
- BS/BA is required with 10+ years of directly related experience, including a minimum of five years within the DoD, or
- 18+ years of directly related experience with proper certifications, including eight years within the DoD.
- U.S. Citizen
- Experience with the F-22 or other fighter/advanced aircraft in the modernization and sustainment phase of their life cycle.
