Job Summary:
The Test Resource Manager (Journeyman) will support the F-22 program office at Wright Patterson AFB, providing Test and Training Systems Management support as well as acquisition-related support. Job Summary:
The Test Resource Manager (Journeyman) will support the F-22 program office at Wright Patterson AFB, providing Test and Training Systems Management support as well as acquisition-related support. This role involves developing innovative solutions to complex problems, applying critical thinking to optimize program execution, and supporting strategic test resource planning. The ideal candidate will interface with various stakeholders, including the Weapon System Prime Contractor, and provide program management support for F-22 Test Resource activities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative solutions to complex problems spanning all functional areas of acquisition, incorporating best practices from commercial industry such as Lean and Agile principles.
- Apply critical thinking across all facets of duties, assisting the customer in optimizing program execution through traditional and non-traditional approaches to developing and delivering capability to the user, while demonstrating adaptability and flexibility to manage deadlines and change.
- Provide support for strategic test resource planning, including Developmental Test (DT) and Operational Test (OT) resources for known and potential future test programs.
- Interface with Weapon System Prime Contractor and Subcontractor, laboratory, headquarters, test, and user communities to provide support for strategic test resource planning, including known and potential future programs.
- Understand components and relationships of Weapon System Prime Contractor development, operation, weapons, and live fire tests in accordance with AFI 99-103.
- Provide program management support for F-22 Test Resource activities, including Common Range Integrated Instrumentation System (CRIIS) integration, Open Air Battlespace Shaping (OABS) test operations, and Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) and Test Data Management.
- Support efforts including test and evaluation strategy development, Weapon System Prime Contractor RFPs, proposal evaluation, contract negotiations, and contractual oversight.
Work Environment:
- Location: The position is an On-Site billet supporting the F-22 Program Office at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. Based on specific tasking, the customer does support a Hybrid schedule for both on-site and telework completion of tasking
- Travel Requirements: There will be minimal (up to 20%) travel associated with the position
- Working Hours: The working hours are a standard workday with core hours running from 0730 to 1630
Basic Qualifications:
- BS / BA in a related field is required with 10+ years of directly related experience, including a minimum of three years within the DoD, or
- 15+ years of directly related experience with proper certifications, including five years within the DoD.
- U.S. Citizen
- Secret with the ability to obtain SAP Access
