Dorrean is looking for a Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Case Analyst to support a contract with a Federal Agency. Specific tasks and duties for the Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Case Analyst include:
• Evaluate, analyze, and assess foreign investment transactions within specific industries and critical infrastructure sectors with the intent of identifying how specific foreign investment transactions potentially impact national security when analyzed holistically.
• Produce assessments for certain mergers and acquisitions and develop recommendations to mitigate risk.
• Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and evaluating national security risk associated with specific investments in the industries critical to U.S. national security and developing strategies to mitigate identified risk.
• Ability to analyze transactions through the lens of business and corporate finance. This includes an ability to understand and evaluate, analyze, and assess the motivations of business, investments groups, and other corporate entities in the context of the competitive market forces within specific industries and the economy at large. A knowledge of business operations, corporate finance, corporate finance, business models, and competitive positioning is a plus.
• Ability to gather and analyze data to assess risk related to supply chains including using a variety of tools to understand supply chain financial and business trends, patterns, and risks to national security.
• Conduct research on specific industries and markets; and engage with subject matter experts on specific industries and markets to identify emerging risk.
Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Case Analyst Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, National Security, or a related field
• 5+ years of work experience in a research and analysis position
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent, data-driven research and analysis
• Proficiency with essential technical tools, including Microsoft Office 365 applications, and SharePoint
• Must currently hold an Active TS/SCI clearance
• Demonstrated project and team management ability
