eSimplicity is seeking a Communications and Frequency Specialist to assist organizations in managing their communication systems, including radio frequency (RF) and wireless technologies. Leverages expertise in RF communication to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure networks. Provides guidance on the design, installation, and maintenance of these systems. Actively reviews and interprets related policies and strategies, bringing a comprehensive perspective to the assessment of legacy systems and the integration of current and future technologies.
Responsibilities:
Liaison with:
the LeMay Center for EMS-related doctrine development
AETC, Space and Cyberspace organizations to define functions of an EMS operator, establish EMS-related training and warfighting culture
AF/A3 on readiness issues
AFPC to establish and manage the future EMS-related career field, personnel billets and assignments
EMS-related enterprises outside the Air Force. AF/A2/6LE develops and staffs for approval EMS superiority policy (including Department of the Air Force (DAF) Policy Directives), strategy, operating concepts, and other guidance as needed (including DAF Instructions, Manuals, Pamphlets, forms, Mission Directives, and Guidance Memoranda).
Develop draft, coordinate, and staff for approval, as needed, EMS superiority policy, doctrine, strategy, operating concepts, and other guidance in relation to strategic guidance provided by current National Security Strategy, National Defense Strategy, National Military Strategy, and Defense Planning Guidance.
Develop draft, and implement, as needed, validation plans for EMS superiority operating concepts. Validation plans will state hypotheses to be tested, methodologies used to validate each hypothesis, validation venues (such as wargames, table-top exercises, modeling, simulation), and plans of actions and milestones and associated cost estimates to implement validation.
Support validation event preparation, execution, and reporting, as needed. EMS superiority operating concept validation results will be reported in terms readily useable to justify resource requests for capabilities in Air Force Planning and Programming processes.
Support coordination with Joint Staff, STRATCOM, other Services, AF/A3 and MAJCOM Directorates of Operations (A3) to integrate EMSO equities into readiness, training, and exercises.
Develop and draft responses, presentations, papers, and reports, as needed, to support communication of EMS superiority force development, force management, policy, doctrine, strategy, operating concepts, and other guidance to stakeholders inside and outside the Air Force.
Serve as US representative to NATO Air Force Armament Groups pertaining to EMSO.
Serve as Air Force representative to the OSD (A&S) Electronic Warfare Capability Team (EWCT) and DoD CIO EMS Executive Steering Group.
Serve as Air Force representative to the Joint Air Dominance Organization (JADO) – tri-chaired by AF/A5D, SAF/AQP and N98 – for all EMSO equities.

5+ Years’ Experience in RF communications, spectrum management, or a related field.Technical Expertise in Electronic Warfare (EW) and Spectrum operations.
Previous Experience in policy and strategy writing.Experience in writing Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) or developing exercises/tests.
Previous Experience with Air Force, Joint Staff, or Combatant Command staff is highly desired.Strong Communication Skills, capable of representing the Air Force at high-level meetings and briefings.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite and other relevant software applications.
Understanding of National Security Strategy, National Defense Strategy, and National Military Strategy.
Working Environment:
eSimplicity supports a remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by manager.
Occasional travel for training and project meetings. It is estimated to be less than 25% per year.
