Northrop Grumman is seeking a Human Resources intern. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Baltimore, MD.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Airborne Multifunction Sensors (AMS) division

Salary Range: $1 - $1
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Partnering with HRBPs and/or the Organizational Effectiveness team on various talent and engagement related initiatives
- Assisting with onboarding and orientation activities for new hires
- Other HR projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2025.
- Be majoring in or having majored in a Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, Communications, Psychology or related field of study.
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2025.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Demonstrated project management skills and/or event coordination experience (prior internship, classroom setting, extracurricular, volunteer capacity etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMs, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with other team members
- Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
- Previous classroom or internship experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition or related discipline.
