Position Summary:
The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)/Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul – Supply (MRO-S) Functional Management Office (FMO) requires the support of a Logistics Analyst 2. This position will provide reports development for logistics, financials, planning, and execution support of MRO/MRO-S users, leadership, and functional community.

Apply working knowledge of relational databases and related programming languages, tools, technologies, and standards.
Possesses sufficient writing skills to prepare and generate technical reports and other documentation pertinent to the position.
Support the maintenance and development of the dashboard for reporting including database functions and complex analytical/financial reports.
Analyze, design, and develop lean, secure, and well documented code of moderately complexity using modern design techniques that confirm to the industry best practices.
Produce written test cases and integration tests to preform necessary application testing to ensure code quality and adherence to requirements.
Collaborate and communicate with project managers, team leads, and other developers regardless of level of expertise.
Perform analyses to determine reporting and dashboard options for development and sustainment of required capabilities.
Support logistics transformation activities, planning, and execution.
Apply technical knowledge to support data team meetings, planning, and implementation preparation activities.
Ability to understand and map Air Force Legacy data to a new format for a report by translating existing data to newly formatted and named data and generate reports.

Education/Experience:
Combined 2+ years of experience in data science and data mining.
Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes, tools, and methodologies.
Experience with Qlik and Tableau for building reports and dashboards
Experience working with data lakes, Hadoop, databricks, Spark and HDFS
Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite reporting capabilities “Out of the Box”
Language Ability: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Mathematical Ability: Basic skills required.
Reasoning Ability: Strong analytical, problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze problems/issues, gather data and information, evaluate, and recommend alternative solutions.
