Perform Quality Engineering roles and responsibilities for Remote Sensing, Natiional Security Space Line of Business supporting ATLO, Manufacturing operations as well as Subcontractor and Supply Chain oversight.

Reviews documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.

Participates as an active member of Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards which includes dispositioning non-conforming hardware, identifying hardware containment requirements, identifying appropriate root cause and corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence.

Performs assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO-9001/AS9100.

Evaluate the design assurance activities and implementation of production process methodology to prevent impacts to production velocity and quality.

Interfaces with customers, suppliers and program personnel on quality related issues.

Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.

Makes the final decision on acceptability of product.

Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance

Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with root cause analysis.

Experience developing quality standards or methods or work instructions

Position requires a full commitment to support overtime, odd shifts (as required), and on-call requirements

Must be able to obtain a security clearance
Desired Skills:
Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in technical discipline or related discipline and minimum of 5 years of related technical experience: e.g. Quality Engineering / Integration & Test / Manufacturing/System Engineering

Ability to prepare and present materials at various program meetings (e.g., Daily Program Status meetings, CDR, PDR, TRR, ERB, CCB, and CABs)

Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as AS9100

Demonstrated ability to proactively drive change and continuous process improvement

Demonstrated experience working in SAP (Q-notes, Production Orders), Automation Framework (AF), SP Q-notes, and EPDM

Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with flight hardware test support equipment

Material Review Board (MRB) experience. Current certification preferred

Demonstrated experience with software orientated test environment

Demonstrated flight hardware Integration & test experience (spacecraft, subsystem, box, and/or component level). Thorough understanding of Test Engineering processes

Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, product/performance specifications and other systems integration technical data

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $94,500 - $178,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
