You will be the Engineering Manager for our team, which is responsible for developing and managing all engineering tasks and requirements for assigned programs. Our team is comprised of experts in engineering, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our ranks.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning all design, integration, test planning, and troubleshooting system issues for assigned programs. You will work closely with our team to ensure successful execution of all engineering tasks and requirements.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Develop and manage all engineering tasks and requirements for assigned programs
• Coordinate and plan all design, integration, test planning, and troubleshooting system issues
• Prepare, plan, and coordinate all design and readiness reviews and associated data reviews
• Provide technical problem-solving support, including failure analysis and corrective action activities
• Serve as the primary customer interface during the test program
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of all engineering tasks and requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Self-starter that is well organized, disciplined, team player and well versed in the Systems Engineering process.
• Working knowledge and experience with the coordination, planning and execution of military test activities.
• Experience with generating System Engineering work products (SEMP, Master Test Plan, System Specification, Trades Studies, Test Procedures, Test Plans and Reports, etc.).
• Candidate needs to have experience in Systems Engineering design, requirements and interface generation, integration, and test. Individual needs strong trouble shooting skills and proven ability to drive issues to closure.
• Experienced and proficient in using a requirements management tool for managing, linking and tracing requirements.
• Strong communication skills with a good professional presence and attitude when interfacing with the customer. Proven past experience interfacing with customers. Familiar with preparing and presenting at program related reviews.
• Knowledge of military Integration/Test, platform integration and the coordination and planning of military ground and maritime testing.
• Good teaming, communication and leadership skills required.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a
related discipline, or equivalent
experience/combined education, with 5 years of
professional experience; or 3 years of
professional experience with a related Masters
degree.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated previous success working in a team based environment to meet objectives
• Government report or thesis writing experience
• Experience leading a team
• Maritime and Ground vehicle experience a plus
• Experience in testing US military products and familiarity with military specifications and standards.
Demonstrated knowledge of software suites
that support all phases of development process such as Solidworks, Catia, AutoCAD, AutoCAD
Electrical, DOORs, Teamcenter.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
