Raytheon - Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is seeking a Program Manager , (Manager, Program Management) to join a growing team within the Space Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (S-ISR) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).

The role involves providing management to a dispersed team encompassing Raytheon and subcontractor team members utilizing Agile DevOps software development.

What You Will Do
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships and respond to customer actions/requests in a timely, comprehensive, and accurate manner
  • Develop multifunctional team(s) to execute Agile program scope
  • Establish and implement program roadmaps, vision, milestones and metrics
  • Ensure policies and procedures are established and followed
  • Manage the organization to ensure appropriate assignment of work tasks, responsibilities, and authority level
  • Monitor subcontractor/teammate performance and maintain effective relationships
  • Track and manage cost performance including earned value management
  • Develop forecasts for the organization
  • Plan and de-conflict resource requirements
  • Define staffing requirements for the area of responsibility
  • Lead proposal activities
  • Travel to participate in domestic business engagements, as needed


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, such as program manager, systems engineer, and/or capture manager, etc
  • 3+ years of experience as a Program Manager/ Integrated Product Teams (IPT) Lead and Control Account Manager (CAM)
  • Level 5 - PM certification completed within 3 months of onboarding
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams
  • Experience engaging and reporting out to all levels of management and stakeholders
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite resources
  • Proposal experience
  • An active and transferable TS/SCI level U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance (customer approved Special Access Program (SAP) endorsement will be required )

We Are RTX

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
