Position Description

You will serve as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Support Equipment Engineering Department, PEO (T) PSE Division, F/A-18 E/F & EA-18G Branch of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will be planning, designing, and carrying out programs, projects, and studies in order to develop and support Visual Landing Aids and associated equipment.
  • You will conduct extensive investigations and analysis of undefined factors and conditions to determine the nature of the problems to devise a solution.
  • You will communicate effectively to convince or settle matters involving controversial issues, mentoring engineers on design, development and sustainment in order to lead projects.
  • You will provide significant and innovative recommendations for advancing programs and/or methods.
