Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will engage with customers to provide system overview and to refine requirements for the tomahawk weapon system and Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC).
- You will apply systems engineering processes to the analysis, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of TMPC mission planning software for the Tomahawk missile system with an emphasis on FMS solutions.
- You will review, analyze, and ensure there is robust engineering documentation for TMPC emerging requirements.
- You will participate in vendor technical interchange meetings and review vendor technical recommendations.
- You will review vendor produced MBSE models and ensure that the TMPC program develops and maintains robust MBSE descriptions of the system.
- You will coordinate with test and evaluation activities for assessment of TMPC software.
- You will support the development of technical capability roadmaps with milestones for customer deployments.
- You will author reports, briefs, provide progress reviews, and brief Senior NAVAIR Leadership and stakeholders on status, metrics, and technical analysis.
- You will participate in Agile software development processes including backlog grooming, backlog prioritization, sprint reviews, program increment reviews, and capability evaluation.
- You will advise and assist NAVAIR executives, managers, and supervisors in the planning and implementation of systems engineering and digital engineering policy and guidance.
