TheData Delivery Managerposition is an exciting opportunity based in Colorado Springs, CO that will work directly with the Kratos Space Federal team, including engineering, operations, finance, program management, and business development. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire process of delivering data to stakeholders, ensuring that data is accurate, timely, and meets all required specifications by managing data extraction, transformation, collaborating with technical teams, and communicating effectively with clients to ensure successful project delivery. You will develop long term visions that are supported by strategic business pursuits, successfully create solutions for executing programs, and expand our business pipeline by listening and responding to current and potential customer needs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Program Management: Lead data delivery projects from initiation to completion, including defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables, managing budgets, and monitoring progress against key milestones.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for data extraction and transformation.
ETL Development and Management: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accuracy throughout the process.
Data Quality Assurance: Establish and implement data quality checks and validation procedures to identify and address data inconsistencies or errors before delivery.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business users, keeping them informed on project status, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
Technical Expertise: Possess strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, database technologies, and programming languages relevant to data manipulation (SQL, Python, etc.).
Change Management: Adapt to changing data requirements and project priorities, ensuring smooth transition and minimizing disruption.
Willing to travel to provide customer support (typically 10% CONUS/OCONUS travel)
Required to currently have a TS and be SCI eligible

Salary Range: $150,000-$190,000

Experience and Skills
- Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or related degree)
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work or 8 years operational experience (willing to consider a range of work and educational levels)
- Experience with Data management, UDL, formats and delivery
- A self-starter with a willingness to learn, take ownership, and deliver high-quality results in a quickly evolving environment
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Strategic mindset, ability to execute in the present while driving towards long term goals
- Direct experience with Government space acquisition processes and programs
- Support, build, track, and status project/program schedules, budget, and execution
- Experience in leading a technical team comprised of a diverse group of engineers and operators across multiple disciplines
- Present programmatic information to team members, management and customers as appropriate
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Knowledge and Experience using MS Project
- Knowledge and Experience using MS Excel & Word
- Atlassian Tools (Jira and Confluence specifically)
- Familiarity with FFP and CP types of contracts
- Analytical Skills - able to analyze large RF datasets and translate data into actionable insights
- Working knowledge of space systems, including ground systems, satellite command and control, RF systems, and system development processes
- Experience with supporting DaaS models
- Business and/or operations experience in foreign markets
