Valiant is seeking a skilled individual to work as an Instructor/ Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a USG Customer based in Virginia.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Provide support with USG course development and implementation.
• Design, oversee and coordinate hands on training exercises.
• Act as a technical SME
• Act as a mentor to new USG officers
• Coordinate multi-office training exercises.
• Individual works with our government client course director and their management with identifying, recommending, and implementing changes to the course content and course materials using feedback obtained from students, and/or other members of the Contractor and government teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI with polygraph required at time of application
• The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within USG course development and implementation
• 10+ years of experience in a technical mission area as a SME
• 5+ years of experience developing and implementing specific course materials and training activities.
• 5+years of experience providing classroom and facilitated instruction.
• Experience interfacing consistently and effectively with customers to define requirements, identify issues, negotiate changes, problem solve, meet deadlines, and manage priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Highly dependable, adaptable, and organized individual with the ability to multi-task.
• Reliable, self-motivated, good time management, and results-oriented.
• Proactive and prompt with a strong attention to detail demonstrating sound judgement.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 10 (ten) days at a time and up to 6 (six) times a year to support training.
• Ability to be flexible with time and may be required to work into the evening and/or weekends as necessary.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: May include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
