ATS is seeking a qualified Security Specialist who administers, coordinates, and evaluates security programs that support the strategy, policies, and standards established for the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the Berry Mission Training Complex (BMTC) facilities and the security of property and assets. The security specialist assists the government in providing technical and physical support for high security areas, security equipment, and security systems. The security specialist assists the government in determining the suitability and security eligibility of individuals for entry and retention in sensitive and nonsensitive positions. Furthermore, the Security Specialist assists the government in making security clearance determinations for employees or other persons for access to sensitive information, resources, material, or work sites.

Support to the BMTC shall include integrated individual and collective Mission Command (MC) staff training and exercises via live, virtual and constructive modeling and simulations for home station, mission planning and rehearsal, and pre-deployment training ranging from platoon up to Combined Joint Task Forces (CJTF) levels with its Areas of Operations, to include Constructive and Gaming/VBS support to Title 10 Army training, Joint Training Plan (JTP), Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) engagement plan, Mission Rehearsals, Joint Interagency, Intergovernmental and Multinational (JIIM), and other multinational training are critical support elements for the BMTC.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Administers, coordinates, and evaluates security programs.
• Enforce the standards established for the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the BMTC facilities and the security of property and assets.
• Assists the government in providing technical and physical support for high security areas, security equipment, and security systems.
• Assist the government in determining the suitability and security eligibility of individuals for entry and retention in sensitive and nonsensitive positions.
• Assist the government in making security clearance determinations for employees or other persons for access to sensitive information, resources, material, or work sites.
• Support the physical security requirements of other organizations utilizing the BMTC facilities and classrooms.
• Utilize and be a subject matter expert (SME) on the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and follow-on security systems.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to unit personnel assigned to support the security of exercises, training and events.
• Coordinate with installation security POCs, unit security POCs and company security officers.

Required Qualifications:

Three years of

• 3 years of specialized experience which includes serving as an organization expert on physical security, antiterrorism, force protection, personnel security, information security, and security education/training.
• Must have completed advanced physical and personnel security training and be able to attain and maintain access to Defense Information Security System (DISS) and the MTC Electronic Security System (ESS).
• Extensive experience with Microsoft O365 and Microsoft Teams.
