Collective Trainer - Computer Based Training Instructor, MTCCS
Fort Johnson, Louisiana (FJLA)
ATS is seeking a qualified Collective Trainer / Computer Based Training Instructor to provide Unit Operator sustainment training. The instructor shall instruct students in the theoretical and practical aspects covering the subjects being taught; utilize direct teaching methods; supervise practical work carried out by students and assist them at points of difficulty. Provide Individual training/sustainment instruction on fielded Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) and to operation Battle Simulation Workstations to include teaching and mentoring on Low Overhead Training System (LOTS), the Division Exercise Training and Review System (DXTRS) and the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) as needed.
Support to the Berry Mission Training Complex (BMTC) shall include integrated individual and collective Mission Command (MC) staff training and exercises via live, virtual and constructive modeling and simulations for home station, mission planning and rehearsal, and pre-deployment training ranging from platoon up to Combined Joint Task Forces (CJTF) levels with its Areas of Operations, to include Constructive and Gaming/VBS support to Title 10 Army training, Joint Training Plan (JTP), Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) engagement plan, Mission Rehearsals, Joint Interagency, Intergovernmental and Multinational (JIIM), and other multinational training are critical support elements for the BMTC.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Shall provide classroom instruction as a Primary Instructor on at least 2 systems and be capable of serving as an Assistant Instructor on other systems.
- Provide mentorship and over-the-shoulder assistance to Soldiers using MCIS and BSWS during exercises.
- Performs routine maintenance, to include clearing systems of exercise and training data after events are complete.
- Configures classrooms and exercise areas for exercises, training and events, and reconfigures such after training is complete.
- Responds to and resolves routine questions and technical issues.
- Provides checks on learning and assists in After Action Reviews and Hot Washes.
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years relevant military experience operating Army MCIS.
- Have demonstrated experience operating a minimum of two MCIS.
- Be certified as an instructor in accordance with (IAW) the government approved certification program.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft O365 and Microsoft Teams.
