Jovian Concepts is looking to hire a System Engineer Level 2 for a role in San Antonio, TX.
This position is currently day shift, but candidates must be available to support a schedule of 7 am-7pm 12-hour shift rotating monthly to 7pm-7 am if mission requires
This role requires a current and active TS/SCI Full Scope Poly Clearance. No CCA's and or CI Poly's can be accepted at this time. Full Scope Poly is required to be considered.
This is a mission essential position in which the Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing continuous monitoring of mission system, performing break/fixes, creating tickets in Jira, performing troubleshooting based on SOP, confluence pages, and past ticket notes, and escalate as necessary, as well as documentation utilizing Confluence for tracking and knowledge transfer.
The Systems Engineer Level 2 shall meet the following years of experience and educational requirements:
Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
