Location Requirements

Versar is seeking a full-time Housing Policy Analyst.
WhatYou’ll Do:
- Coordinate, consolidate, develop, and maintain Housing governance and programmatic documents (e.g., DAFIs, policies, procedures, standards, staff packages); action plan(s) recommendations; task and inquiry responses; audit responses; issue resolution action plan(s) and training plans and programs under AF/A4C program management oversight. The Contractor shall manage the Housing website.
- Provide detailed updates to leadership and stakeholders by participating in meetings/forums and coordinating, consolidating, developing, and delivering/presenting associated meeting materials (e.g., slides, after action reports, minutes). Coordinate and collaborate with AFIMSC and AFCEC providing AF/A4C level guidance to develop responses to Congressional and external inquiries.
- Provide annual inputs for Family Housing (FH) appropriation requirements to support AF/A4C, including housing education requirements, and DAF-wide housing programs. Review AFIMSC provided Housing Budget Estimate Submissions (BES) and Justification Books (J-Book).
- Analyze housing data and reports and develop, coordinate, and implement actions, plans, policies or Business Case Analyses (BCAs) actions under AF/A4C program management.
- Analyze operations and inventory management data associated with DAF requirements in support of DoD enterprise information system and engagement with other Services and DOD reps (e.g., eMH Configuration Management Board, Configuration Control Boards for modules, etc.).
- Coordinate and collaborate with OSD, SAF, AFIMSC, AFCEC and stakeholders facilitating the oversight of Military Family Housing (MFH), Unaccompanied Housing (UH), Privatized Housing (PH) and Leased Housing (LH) projects.
- Ensure compliance with DAF standards and staff GOQ cost reports (FH operations and management (Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and project owner) for OSD Congressional reporting and budget exhibits, and out-of-cycle and after the fact congressional notification packages. Ensure compliance with DAF standards and DAF GOQ cost reporting processes.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience related to Government or private sector housing who have the technical ability to analyze processes and to recommend and develop implementation guidance for the Air Force Housing Program to include: Military Family, Unaccompanied and Privatized Housing, General Officer Quarters (GOQs), Housing Referral and Relocation Support Services, LH, and Enterprise Military Housing (eMH).
- DoD experience; preferably Air Force
- Must have an active Secret clearance.
- Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Successful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
- Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
- Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate’s start date.
