BAE Systems is seeking a Logistics Analyst II to join our Logistics team working in the Material Support Organization located in Mt. Laurel The qualified candidate will work with a highly complex computer system critical to the defense of the United States. As part of our team the successful candidate will support the US Navy's Aegis Combat System (ACS) research and development, shipboard ACS modernization efforts, new construction, and Fleet support efforts. Aegis is the Navy's premiere computer suite in detection, managing, command & control, directing sensors and putting weapons on target.
Job Summary: Assists with the efficient flow of goods and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. Ensures that customer service and objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives. Ensures the execution, tasking and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes. Integrates learning from customers, competitors and professional training to continuously improve competitive position. Works with leadership and customer to ensure efficient and timely materiel flow(s).
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Function as team member to meet tasking objectives and coordinate schedules and contract deliverables
  • Provide logistics support to keep all on-site and off-site test equipment operational and available for use by the Aegis Combat System (ACS) Developer
  • Provide support to MDA for CASREPS
  • Liaison between US Government personnel (AEGIS TECHREP) and BAE Systems Inc. personnel
  • Assists team lead with material procurement via MILSTRIP requisition, AEGIS shipping requests for the USN fleet and/or the Shipyards and Ad-Hoc customer requests i.e. data/metrics articulation
  • Researching material availability to fill urgent Fleet requests and ad hoc inquiries from AEGIS TECHREP
  • Author and maintain detailed trackers via Database Management (MS Excel)
  • Assists with material shipment coordination
  • Reviews and analyzes material stock levels/inventory and supporting special projects
  • Attends weekly status meetings and generates reports for leadership team
  • Works to determine material procurement process, communicate customer needs/requirements and screen for availability through authorized sources of supply
  • Prepares and contributes reports and presentations for AEGIS TECHREP customer and/or BAE Systems leadership
  • Regularly engages with customer(s), schedules and conducts team meetings as requested


Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Required Education, Experience, & Skills : Security Clearance// SECRET
Associate's Degree and 6 years work experience or
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience

Military Experience in Logistics, Supply Support, or equivalent experience is desired.

MS Office Suite (Excel proficiency is desired)

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Military experience in supply chain, logistics, or industry equivalent
US Navy ERP knowledge
DD1149 Authoring
Continuing Process Improvement (CPI) experience
SECRET security clearance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66084 - $112343

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
