Senior Advisor (4613)

Kiliuda Consulting, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Contracting leader is looking for a Senior Advisor to support our customer in Bethesda, MD.

Requirements:

• Provide expertise and advice to the OEFIA Director and other senior leaders on grant information and policy recommendations regarding the funding of grants.
• Support NCI's Senior Leadership in ad hoc activities related to the extramural finance portfolio
• Collaborate with OBF, OGA and other NCI Divisions Offices and Centers to analyze financial data and develop recommendations for current and future years and initiatives
• Provide advisory services on a full range of issues relating to analyzing, formulating, projecting and tracking NCI grant budgets and expenditures; prepares regular and ad hoc financial reports on NCI grant programs.
• Provide advisory services to NCI Senior Leadership, including the OEFIA, OGA and OBF, on policy proposals made by HHS and NIH, or others, to provide recommendations for implementation in the NCI.
• Attend and participate in NCI meetings when required
• Participate in communications, ensuring alignment with current NCI priorities and initiatives as required
• Provide regular updates on all activities to relevant NCI staff

Responsibilities:

• US Citizen
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to pass a Public Trust background
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field; or 11 years of hands-on related experience in a budget environment
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, review, coordinate and provide executive expertise
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
• Experience with accounting software or systems
• Ability to speak and write fluently in English
• Biology/science background and/or experience communicating with executive scientific leadership groups
• Experience in working with financial documents
• Attention to detail
