The Opportunity
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Knowledge Manager Lead. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization OCONUS in HOR AFRICOM.
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Knowledge Manager Lead supporting the Enterprise Level Information Technology Expertise (ELITE) contract at the United States Europe Command (USEUCOM located in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.
The successful candidate must have solid organizational skills and be able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both written and orally. This includes presenting concepts, ideas, and status updates in a professional business-like manner.
The candidate will be required to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment that requires solid leadership skills, team interaction and coordination of efforts in support of a rapidly changing Enterprise IT Environment, balancing day-to-day IT Service Delivery with long term strategy roadmaps, technology insertion and an aggressive innovation implementation.
Responsibilities
Dedicated Knowledge Management Lead to support the EUCOM theater command decision-making. Coordinate and execute the implementation of policies, programs, and initiatives. Develop, coordinate, and execute short- and long-term plans of action to achieve the goals of an organization. Collaborate with higher-level management, subject matter experts and other stakeholders to develop plans, build relationships, and identify potential issues. Conduct research, analyze data, and develop recommendations for consideration. Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders, including internal and external resources, to ensure successful projects. Monitor and report on project status, ensuring teams compliance with regulations, and responding to inquiries in a timely manner. Apply KM expertise to meet EUCOM objectives, to improve collaborative information sharing, and support the EUCOM's vision of superior mission execution through comprehensive shared understanding among EUCOM and all partners.
You will be responsible for the management of Knowledge Management Engineers, SharePoint Developers, Software Developers, Training resources, and SCRUM staff supporting the full cycle of knowledge management for customers in Germany, Belgium, and the United Kingdom. Manage the implementation and development of a Test and Development Azure Lab for software development staff. Restructure and streamline Embed programs with each Directorate to increase awareness of Knowledge Management principles and promote team capabilities. Developing a Risk Management Program which contributed to a successful ISO 20k certification and development of a program wide Employee Engagement Program. Provide KM expertise to manage and guide the EUCOM KM program. Employ expertise in software and hardware engineering and cloud computing in partnership with business process engineers to develop and maintain appropriate solutions to identified demand signals. Perform process analysis and modeling employing related disciplines such as requirements analysis, outreach/engagement, quality communications, strategic/systems thinking, etc. Perform requirements analysis, planning, design, integration, implementation, testing, deployment, documentation, and sustainment. Address interface/graphical design, database architecture, cloud computing environment, and enterprise systems integration requirements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, network engineering, computer science, or related subject and 5 years of experience OR Master's degree in telecommunications, network engineering, computer science, or related subject and 3 years of experience
• Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
• DOD 8570 IAT level 2 compliance (Security+ Certification)
• Must be willing/able to work OCONU
