Lifecycle Logistician
The Opportunity:
As a logistics manager, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. You understand government systems and know that using tools and software is critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We're looking for a logistics engineer like you to apply your engineering and process improvement experience to develop tools for the DoD. Using your skills in strategic planning and execution, you'll help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment.
As a logistics engineer on our defense team, you'll help identify the root cause of environmental and corrosion problems. You'll use your findings to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience with production planning and control is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions.
In this role, you'll use your engineering logistics and materials knowledge to contribute to the safety of the warfighter. You'll work closely with senior team members and grow your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 10+ years of experience in DoD sustainment support or a DoD leadership role
- Experience with developing lifecycle sustainment plans and supportability milestones
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition, maintenance requirements, and organizational functions involved in logistical support
- Knowledge of logistical requirements in support of program decision milestones
- Ability to develop and analyze data to determine logistic objectives and goals and identify support requirements, including funding and technical support requirements
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
