ManTech is currently seeking a Facilities and Janitorial Clerk that will support our offices in Stafford, VA . As the Clerk, you will play a key role in a wide range of duties and most importantly present the first impression of the organization to not only internal employees but also to external visitors, Executives, and customer representatives.
The primary responsibilities include the day-to-day support of the working environment and ensuring the cleanliness and presentability of the office spaces. In addition, the Clerk provides cross-functional support to employees on site to include (but not limited to) Facilities, Business Operations, and Maintenance activities. All relative duties are highlighted below:

Unclassified work areas include (but are not limited to) the following: Reception spaces, Open offices and hallways, Conference rooms, Utility room(s), Men's and Women's Restrooms, and the Kitchen pantries.
Classified work areas include (but are not limited to) the following: Vestibules, Security offices, Open office and work areas, Hard wall offices, Conference Rooms, Integration and Test Labs, Kitchen pantries, Staging areas, Data Centers, and the Restrooms.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Facilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day facility support functions, including but not limited to: mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, window washing, trash and recycle collection, and restroom and kitchen upkeep and cleaning.
- Maintains the log of office supply inventory and places restock requests to manager as needed.
- Moves office furniture and equipment as necessary and assists in the performance of office handy person duties (i.e., hanging pictures and bulletin boards, performing small repairs, etc.)
- Provides support to the mail services team as requested.
- Maintains kitchen areas daily.
- Provides escort assistance for contractor and building management.
- Assists during facility reallocations and construction.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl.
- May have to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.
Janitorial:
Unclassified work areas include (but are not limited to) the following: Reception spaces, Open offices and hallways, Conference rooms, Utility room(s), Men's and Women's Restrooms, and the Kitchen pantries.
Classified work areas include (but are not limited to) the following: Vestibules, Security offices, Open office and work areas, Hard wall offices, Conference Rooms, Integration and Test Labs, Kitchen pantries, Staging areas, Data Centers, and the Restrooms.
- Perform weekly spot cleaning of carpets, wipe down walls near trash cans (spills or splash on walls) on an as-needed basis.
- Vacuuming of common areas and above noted areas shall occur a minimum of two (2) days per week.
- Weekly dusting of all areas, surfaces, appliances, and baseboard runners.
- Daily cleaning of all glass (doors, entryways) to remove spots, marks, fingerprints, etc.
- Daily cleaning of restrooms, and/or as needed during walkthroughs.
- Daily cleaning of all break area sinks, counters, tables etc.
- Weekly cleaning of interior glass/windows (other than entryways) as needed.
- Monthly refrigerator cleaning the (last Friday of each month), emptying contents w/ complete wipe down and disinfection usage.
- Mopping in noted areas (tile floors) shall occur two (2) days per week, more frequently if requested by manager or senior leadership.
- Performs all work in accordance with established Corporate and OSHA safety standards and procedures.
- Is willing to perform other duties as reasonably assigned and appropriate for the skill set.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of work experience in facilities and/or janitorial work
Clearance:
- No clearance to start. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situation
- Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and/or around a business campus or large facility.
