Description
Leidos is seeking a Technical Solutions Lead to support delivery of intelligent technology solutions that secure our nation and its allies' critical Defense resources. The senior position reports to the National Security Sector, Division Vice President for Force Protection Solutions. The profit/loss technical leader focuses on business growth, targeting high-tech opportunities in the areas of security, cyber, mission software and systems, multi-domain, and advanced technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence).
The technical leader serves as the business lines’ primary ally in partnering with business development, chief technology, strategic partners (internal and external to Leidos) and customers to capture new multi-million-dollar opportunities. The leader provides strategic thought leadership for accelerated growth, leveraging profitable technology enablers.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Serve as the business lines’ primary lead in defining technology growth strategies for the Division in partnership with key stakeholders including business development and the chief technology office.
•Serve as the business lines’ primary lead in delivering differentiated technical solutions and securing resources to develop white papers, execute demonstrations and technical exchanges, and respond to government requests (e.g., RFI, ROM, RFQ, RFP).
•Partner with chief technology subject matter experts to solution high return-on-investment, advanced capabilities such as SecDevOps powered by artificial intelligence, predictive data analytics, biometrics and identity integration, and rapid edge computing for intelligent decision-making.
•Partner with chief technology to transition advanced capabilities to new and existing programs, garnering smooth award start-up and accelerated on-contract growth.
•Provide resourcing and reach-back support to Senior P/L Program Managers that oversee execution of technical programs, leveraging innovation to defend and grow the business.
•Ensure high technical depth and succession for critical skills within the Division through various venues including training, upskilling, stretch assignment, etc.
Clearance Requirement:
•Active Secret clearance (minimum)
Basic Qualifications:
•BA/BS in a technical field and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years or prior relevant experience.
•8+ years’ experience in technical solutioning supporting system and software programs in the DoD or federal government.
•Demonstrated experience with advanced technologies, integrated system solutions, digital transformation (e.g., open architecture, cyber, cloud engineering and federation, predictive data analytics, AI/ML, etc.).
•Operational understanding of defense products and capabilities (e.g., sensors, effectors, counter unmanned, access control and intrusion detection, biometrics and identity management) in relation to advanced technologies, integrated system solutions, and digital transformation.
•Demonstrated experience in business acumen for solutioning, shaping and winning complex programs.
•Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver compelling briefings and artifacts that positively influence decision makers.
•Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with a team and work independently to deliver high outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
•Experience in capturing and winning large programs with total contract value of $500M or greater.
Work Location:
•Hybrid; primary work location Reston, VA (Leidos Headquarters) with ability to telework as approved.
Travel:
•Occasional (30%)

Pay Range: Pay Range $134,550.00 - $243,225.00
