We are looking for a System Integrator to join our team to support the IFMC Project Office, AMD Mission Command Product Office, and FAAD C2.

The FAAD System Integrator will serve as a FAAD operation/integration subject matter expert directly supporting the PEO M&S Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office. Their experience with FAAD C2 and Air and Missile Defense will assist in supporting live and simulated digital integration and data analysis supporting the Tactical Innovation and Experimentation Lab (TIEL). The FAAD System Integrator will configure, integrate, and employ modeling and simulation tools to architect scenarios that will be utilized to conduct test threads for various events and tests.

Your day-to-day work will include:
  • Working with contractors, government civilians, and system operators.
  • Providing customers with technical advice, integration requirements, and implementation timelines for FAAD activities.
  • Advising other team members on the configuration and deployment of the FAAD software in support of a broad range of Air Defense missions.
  • Supporting data analysis activities in the field and the Tactical Innovation and Experimentation Lab (TIEL) in support of various FAAD events.
  • Configuring, executing, and maintaining various system integrations for FAAD C2.
  • Executing modeling and simulation tools to develop test threads for verification and validation of system updates.
  • Analyzing, interpreting & recommending solutions for system shortfalls, discrepancies, or improvements in software-related technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

At a minimum you should have:
  • US Citizenship and an active SECRET security clearance.
  • Be a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of related experience within Army Air Defense.
  • Experience integrating FAAD systems in an Air Defense environment at multiple echelons.
  • Experience working with modeling and simulation tools to architect basic scenarios in a data-centric environment to answer system, network, and system questions.
  • Advanced knowledge of system hardware capabilities and current tactical software requirements.
  • Strong networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
  • Knowledge of Short-Range Air Defense missions, TTPs, and efforts across the military and demonstrable critical thinking of those efforts as they apply to Air Defense units.
  • Proven working experience in the above fields including installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux-based environments.
  • The ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
  • The ability to travel up to 25%.

You will be highly desirable if you have:
  • Experience developing and implementing training objectives that focus on current TTPs.
  • The ability to interact and communicate with executive-level Army, civilian, and contractor leadership.
  • 20+ years of experience integrating multiple weapons, sensors, and echelons.
  • Joint Air Defense experience.

Estimated Salary Range:
  • Senior: $145,000 - $170,000
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): $175,000 - $200,000

The provided salary range serves as a broad reference. However, Intrepid takes various factors into account when establishing base salary offers, including the position's scope and responsibilities, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and prevailing market conditions.
