Job Role Specific Requirements:

Core responsibilities and duties; highlight day-to-day activities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain VoIP and VTC systems to ensure seamless communication across the organization.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess needs, and develop solutions that align with business objectives.

3. Configure and troubleshoot VoIP and VTC hardware and software components, ensuring optimal performance and call quality.

4. Monitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and disruption.

5. Integrate VoIP and VTC systems with existing network infrastructure and communication tools.

6. Implement security measures to safeguard VoIP and VTC systems against unauthorized access and cyber threats.

7. Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving technical issues promptly.

8. Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in VoIP and VTC technologies, recommending improvements as needed.

9. Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

10. Create and maintain knowledgebase articles for use in troubleshooting and resolving common issues.

11. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and system maintenance.



Preferred skills and qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

2. Proven experience in designing and deploying VoIP and VTC solutions in enterprise environments.

3. Strong understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP) and VTC technologies.

4. Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, and routing.

5. Hands-on experience with VoIP and VTC equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Poly, or similar.

6. Familiarity with security practices and tools for protecting VoIP and VTC systems.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose complex technical issues.

8. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

9. Collaboration and teamwork abilities to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.

10. Relevant industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA Collaboration, CompTIA Network+, or vendor-specific VoIP/VTC certifications.
