Savvee Consulting is seeking to hire a detail oriented entry-level Administrative Specialist to support our federal client on-site in Washington, DC. Applicants should be able to provide great administrative support to leadership, as well as having a great attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Essential Functions
• Conducting research, preparing reports, and handling incoming requests that may contain sensitive data
• Maintaining calendars and deconflicting, events as required, for senior leadership
• Preparing, reviewing, and editing correspondences, meeting agendas, meeting summaries, and other documents for senior leadership
o Utilizing Adobe Acrobat Professional to create, edit, and manage documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client standards
o Organizing, converting, and securing sharable documents in various formats
• Arranging on-site visitor requests and escorting visitors through the facility
• Coordinating travel arrangements including arranging hotels, auto rentals, and flights, also preparing authorization requests, and completing travel vouchers for expense reporting
• Tracking inventory of office supplies and equipment
• Requesting and managing the distribution of IT equipment, following best practices, and reporting updates to senior leadership
• Supporting the client's Human Resources team including personnel file maintenance, on- boarding, and out processing of employees
• Coordinating the use of office space and maintaining floor plan maps
• Scheduling ad hoc maintenance on items within the office
• Aiding Leadership Team in ad hoc tasks as needed
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to client
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support


Required Education & Training
• Bachelor's degree OR five years of related administrative experience

Minimum Experience & Skills
• Must currently hold an active Secret clearance and must have ability to obtain DHS sustainability
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including, Outlook to include shared calendars, scheduling, and organization Experience utilizing Adobe to create, edit, and manage PDF files
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Acute attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proven self-starter
