Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Media Content Developer to support the Office of Special Investigations (OSI) by delivering high-quality, cost-effective audio and video production services. This full-time contractor role requires expertise in all aspects of multimedia production, including scriptwriting, live production, photography, graphic and art direction, podcast production, post-production, and micro-learning training development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media production and editing, familiarity with Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Captivate, and a commitment to delivering engaging, government-owned content aligned with OSI training, advertising, and recruitment objectives.
Responsibilities:
Production Planning:
• Collaborate with government project managers (PMs) to develop and present video concepts, scripts, and production plans.
• Deliver approved production plans within three business days.
• Coordinate, record, and deliver video content within five business days or as agreed upon.
Multimedia Processing:
• Produce interactive multimedia content combining video, still images, and audio.
• Ensure digital recordings are formatted for easy access via the agency's shared website.
• Create linear active content that progresses without navigational controls for viewers.
Podcast Development:
• Produce episodic, spoken-word digital audio files supporting OSI command interests.
• Manage the content spectrum from scripted discussions to improvised conversations.
Micro-Learning and Virtual Reality Training:
• Develop short, skill-based micro-learning training videos.
• Explore and assist in integrating virtual reality technology into training programs.
• Support both onsite and distance learning initiatives with engaging multimedia solutions.
Post-Production:
• Edit raw audio and video footage, incorporating special effects, transitions, and other enhancements.
• Re-record content when necessary to align with OSI’s messaging goals.
• Finalize and post approved content to the video library within five business days.
Video Library Management:
• Organize and maintain a comprehensive video library of training materials.
• Store completed audio/video content on government-approved platforms such as SharePoint.
