Job Description:
Intermediate professional with practical knowledge of job area. Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area. Essential Functions:
- Candidate will be responsible for ensuring deliverables meet all performance requirements through manufacturing processes via production planning.
- Experience working in the aerospace industry, on a production line for electronics.
- Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing production planning using known procedures and processes.
- Proficient at tracking assemblies, verifying shelf life and requirements of materials necessary to complete builds on schedule.
- Must be able to do investigative work - may have to look through parts lists, inventory history, schedules, and drawings of assemblies.
- May assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify processes.
- Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to manager/site leads. Must be able to work in fast-paced, schedule driven environment, without sacrificing product quality.
- Able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects. Acute attention to detail, excellent organizational skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Security Clearance required upon hire: Top Secret / SCI
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience in inventory management and production planning.
- Ability to work weekends and overtime if needed
- U.S. Citizenship
- Intermediate computer skills - File/folder navigation, Microsoft word, and Microsoft Excel
- Prior aerospace manufacturing knowledge
- MRP and PDM knowledge
