We are seeking a candidate to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program by joining the Systems Engineering Coordination/Correlation Team. The team handles all system level requirements and requirement changes to the Weapons System for the FBM Program, specifically Missile interfaces for the Trident II ballistic missile (commonly known as the D5LE missile) and now the development of the D5LE2 missile, oversees interface definitions, plans and executes processes, and has fingers in every development project under the FBM Program.
We have a Weapon System level view of the FBM Program with activities related to integrating the D5LE and D5LE2 missile into the submarine weapon system, as well as supporting efforts to integrate missile subsystems into the flight vehicle . You will play an integral role on this team by taking on the following key responsibilities:
• As the Systems Engineer Associate Manager in the Coordination/Correlation group you will lead and provide daily tasking for the team.
• Provide mentorship and development of the Coordination/Correlation group in partnership with the Manager.
• You will manage/coordinate the review, analysis, and response to system level requirements and requirement changes to the Weapons System for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, specifically Missile interfaces.
• In this roll you will be directly responsible for coordinating with subject matter experts (SMEs), Management, Customers, DoD, and active Duty Military/Navy.
• You will need to effectively communicate technical information in written or verbal form to the customer and other members of the program as required, pay strong attention to detail, being organized, and have a commitment to excellence and ownership in the creation of your work products.
• You will need a strong understanding of system level requirements and proper requirement verbiage is preferred, as you will be working with Engineers in all disciplines to ensure all parts of the Weapons System integrate to perform to the customer's expectations.
Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams across multiple contracts to communicate and coordinate work as one team with common goals
• Experience in multiple aspects of Systems Engineering processes and product lifecycle (e.g., requirements, interface control, design and manufacturing integration, test and verification, and sustainment and support)
• B.S. Engineering Discipline (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineer)
• Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) Proficient
• Comfortable with Public Speaking
• CAD drafting (Creo/AutoCAD/IDEAS/etc.)
• Understanding of Windchill/EPDM
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering practices and implementation
• Proficient with Correspondence - grammar and formatting/etc.
• Experience leading teams, developing processes and business requirements, and collaborating with internal and external management or customers
• US Citizenship with an active Secret security clearance

• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
