Description:We are currently seeking a dedicated QA Inspector to join our dynamic team. This position is part of the team supporting F-22 aircraft modifications at Nellis AFB, Nevada. This pivotal role involves a broad spectrum of responsibilities. Some of the job requirements include but are not limited to:
- Performing inspection functions to assure compliance with applicable aircraft workbook specifications, engineering drawings and technical data, and approve or reject work accomplished by team members.
- Responsible for inspecting F-22 Fighter coatings, structures, assemblies, systems, components and parts.
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes.
- Inspect for quality, completeness, proper function and adherence to engineering and technical data and planning.
- Perform workbook reviews for completeness, accuracy and ensure work performed by technicians conforms to requirements.
- Complete, maintain and disposition required records of all inspections and findings.
- Perform audits and report results to management.
- Required to effectively interact with engineering, production, customers and/or their representatives.
This position may also be required to support F-16 Mods, Upgrades and Overhaul (MUO) efforts as necessary on Nellis AFB.
Must be able to work any shift as required to support customer, including weekends
* Must have or be able to obtain / maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
* Must be a US Citizen.
* Must have an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting.

Basic Qualifications:
2-4 years Quality Assurance experience on 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft in Modification and/or Maintenance Environment.
Minimum 5-years military aircraft operations experience within the past 10 years.
Experience preparing quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information, and trends including failed process, recalls, corrective actions, and validations.
Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings/instructions; system schematics/blueprints; and technical policy/maintenance instructions
Demonstrated ability to identify and understand non-conformities as they relate to safety-of-flight inspections, procedural breakdowns, and/or program (process) audits
Desired Skills:
F-16, F-22, F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Experience
Have a minimum USAF 7-Level skill rating or USMC Level 4 MATMEP rating (or equivalent experience).
Possess effective communication skills for coordinating with Contractor Field Team (CFT) Leads, Aircraft Managers/Supervisors, Field Service Reps, System Engineers, Maintenance Logistics Support Managers, Customer (DCMA/GCQA),COR/QAE and maintainers regarding quality issues, Deficiency Analysis/Reporting, customer complaints, and other issues related to higher quality as they occur.
Experience with DCMA 8210 Contractor's Flight and Ground Operations and associated Consolidated Ground Operations Procedures (CGOPs)
Experience in conducting and recording Process Compliance Surveillance Program (PCSP) results in the Audit Management System (AMS)-9000 database.
Knowledgeable of Safety, Tool Control, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Prevention, Supply, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Quality, and Security programs.
Aircraft Modification, Upgrades and Overhaul (MUO) experience.
Aircraft Structural Maintenance experience or Electro-environmental or avionics background
Experience in fighter aircraft crew escape systems (i.e. canopy and ejection seat)
Familiar with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 21-101.
Capable of conducting teleconference and/or briefing (presentation) to management/customer
Excellent organizational, administration, Microsoft Office Suite, and computer skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
