Overview

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Network Administrator with an active Secret clearance to support network administration functions for Government customer. This position will be located in Arlington, Virginia and will be an onsite position.
Responsibilities
- Respond to email administrative requests
- Support daily tasking on various network routers, switches, and servers
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to all network routers and switches
- Identify, communicate, and escalate issues and risks
- Provide site network engineering design and As-built processes
- Assist all offsite support professionals/Techs in troubleshooting and installing network equipment
- Travel to remote sites to perform site surveys, new installations, and site relocations
- Manage and support Next Generation Network (NGN), which consist of Routers, Switches, WLCs, and WAPs, all through the Cisco Identity Services Engine
- Pre-configure and perform IOS and firmware upgrades on all Routers, Policy Servers, Wireless LAN controllers and Network switches prior to shipping equipment out to a site, before a new install, or equipment replacement
- Install and support Security Programs Castle network which consists of switches, also to include servers and security cameras
Qualifications
- High School with 6 - 9 years of network administration experience (or commensurate experience)
- Clearance required: Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability
