Job Description:

Vaxcom Services Inc, (a Parsons company) is looking for an amazingly talented Site Supervisor to join our team in Columbus, Ohio! In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and triaging issues that arise on site. This role involves managing guard schedules, contacting call off employees, mentoring/training, disciplinary actions, tickets, combo training and any other staff related functions. The Site Supervisor role manages the shift leads, addresses issues at the client and PM level, and maintains accountability of the staff and site to ensure a safe and secure environment. It's imperative that the Site Supervisor be very familiar with the site, staff, client and contractual obligations to be successful in this role.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Work closely with Vaxcom Corporate and Program Manager to ensure Security Officers are properly trained and certified as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive daily logs of security activities, incidents and communications.
  • Report all incidences and need-to-know information to the project manager and program management teams.
  • Communicate any relevant site/client/situational nuances to the site manager and subsequent chain of command (if necessary).
  • Supervise, lead, coordinate and organize Security Officers and security teams as needed.
  • Act as a liaison to Customer staff and departments as needed and appropriate.
  • Collect daily roll call briefings from team leads and address any staff-related situations with the lead.
  • Provide ongoing mentoring and training to new and existing team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in security practices and procedures.
  • Manage and resolve trouble tickets efficiently, coordinating with relevant departments to address security related issues.
  • Develop and maintain the security teams schedule, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with labor regulations.
  • Conduct combination training to the leads and other security staff to ensure client access to all spaces.
  • Monitor the performance of the leads and other staff members, identify deficiencies, highlight successes and continuously update policies to adapt to any nuances with site and program operations.


What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Security Management and/or related field.
  • Five years of experience in a security role with a minimum of two years in a leadership or supervisory position.
  • Strong understanding of access control systems, security protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
  • Active and Current TS/SCI clearance.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in criminal justice, security management or related field.
  • Experience with scheduling software and incident reporting.
  • Proven track record of mentoring and developing team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Working knowledge of datacenter operations.
