Position Description

You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Systems Acquisitions Group, Program management Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will serve as liaison between the program office, contractors, suppliers and participating activities on all matters related to program planning for assigned programs.
  • You will collaborate with management officials for the development of program guidance and requirements for development, test and evaluation, procurement and in- service operations of supported aircraft programs.
  • You will formulate short-term and long-range program plans. ensuring program milestones established provide adequate time and resources for implementation by contractors, field activities and participating government agencies.
  • You will plan administrative and procurement lead-times, development schedules, cost-effective quantities of test articles, scheduling of test facilities, and a wide range of other factors that influence the development of program plans.
  • You will develop and maintain a management information reporting system sufficient in scope to serve as a reference source for briefing program officials about the current technical, financial and schedule status of the program.
  • You will prepare, coordinate, and update all periodic and phase reporting documents needed by the management officials and decision authorities who oversee the acquisition process.
