Description
Leidos is seeking a Sr. Program Scheduler to join our Force Protection Solutions Division and support the General Purpose Electronic Testing System (GETS) program.
Leidos Force Protection Solutions Division delivers unified open-architecture, agile, multi-domain solutions as an advanced designer and integrator of physical access control; intrusion detection; counter-unmanned; biometric; identity management; chemical biological and energetic capabilities for US, International Government, and highly-regulated commercial customers that keep pace with and defeat rapidly evolving threats.
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of creating and maintaining resource loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to provide the basis for the time phased budget and estimate to complete cost data. In depth IMS Project skills will be required to facilitate meetings and work one-on-one to ascertain project activities, resources, requirements, predecessors, successors, impacts, milestones, etc. You will construct and maintain the MS Project plan daily, run reports, and generate various views.
This role reports through the Sector Scheduling Manager the larger enterprise-wide Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) Center of Excellence (COE). The Leidos Corporate EVM COE is a team leading and executing the core responsibilities of scheduling, planning, EVMS, the associated infrastructure and tools, implementations, training and surveillance for Leidos.

Pay Range: Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00

Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for applying scheduling theory to develop and maintain a resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) schedule using best practices as in the Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG).
- Implement program scheduling business rhythms, developing baseline schedules and associated artifacts to meet contractual/project requirements, and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule
- Strong communications skills with the ability to work with the functional areas to identify and maintain all schedule tasks and dependencies.
- In conjunction with the Project Manager, and with input from the cross-functional team, generate, publish and maintain an accurate Master Schedule, using MS Project and Project Web App (PWA), showing the tasks and resources required to deliver on-time, per customer requirements and milestones
- Work closely with multiple industry and government performers to develop detailed schedules, keep these schedules current and seamlessly integrated into the Master Schedule.
- Develop and maintain linkages, dependencies and inter-dependencies with related projects.
- Ensure internal and external dependencies are documented and tracked for risk management.
- Identify major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle and other project events.
- Identify critical path and task dependencies.
- Set and maintain the baseline schedule.
- Perform ‘what if’ scenarios within the schedule.
- Develop schedule version control processes.
- Generate schedule reports based on planned vs actual dates.
Basic Qualifications:
- US citizenship required and must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience in program scheduling
- Advanced expertise using Microsoft Project
- Experience using Project Web App
- Strong working knowledge of scheduling theory and related best-practices (e.g., PASEG) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) architecture (e.g., WBS or IMP based)
- Proven working knowledge of Critical Path and Baseline Change Control and IMS configuration management.
- Ability to work independently with overall responsibility for the Master Schedule
- Proven ability to work well within a team/collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using tools like Microsoft Project Web App (PWA), Structured Solutions Inc. (SSI) Tools for Microsoft Project, and Monte Carlo Analysis tools.
- Advanced Excel skill set including Power BI, pivot tables, macros, lookup tables
- Experience with Scheduling for Agile and linking Microsoft Project and Jira.
- Experience with EVM/EVM Lite.
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Scheduling Professional (SP) certification
