The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for the Quality Control and Assurance program for the contract task order. The QCM will work with the Task Order Program Manager (TOPM) and other staff members to promote QC/QA standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Implement Quality Control Plan (QCP) ensuring that the QCP is reviewed updated and approved by Government representatives annually or as required.
• Ensure all service deliverables meet quality standards and performance requirements
• Monitor key aspects of program and contract management including subcontractor management, recruiting and staffing, security management, and linguist support processes and procedures to ensure compliance with DLITE and task order requirements
• Perform periodic, routine, and scheduled inspections of all aspects of contract performance
• Coordinate with program office staff on identified concerns or issues
• Ensure corrective measures eliminate deficiencies and reoccurrences
• Recommend process performance improvements
• Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting on quality of contract

• Bachelor's degree OR 20 years career in Military (retired at E6 or higher level)
• Any Quality Assurance Training Certification OR DAWIA QA Level II certification
• Quality Control Training certification
• 5 years Quality Control management experience within the last 10 years
• Complete understanding and competency with project management software tools and program portals
• Strong communication skills and experience with deployment and maintenance of a Quality Management System
• Must possess superior computer and systems skills

• Competency with project management software tolls and program portals. Knowledge and understanding of the most recent version of regulations and guidance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to work in a sitting position for 8 or more hours per day.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Must be able to travel to job locations by automobile and/or commercial airline.
• Must be able to wear appropriate chemical and ballistic protective gear as required in a war hazard zone.
Additional requirements:
• Required Personnel Security Clearance (PSC) –The selected candidate must be in possession of the necessary level of Personnel Security Clearance (PSC) as specified in the job descriptions or eligible to qualify for same.
• Fit for Duty – The selected candidate must undergo an extensive medical examination to be certified medically fit for duty in the work assignment location. Similarly, the selected candidate must undergo a dental examination to be certified that there are no foreseen eminent dental issues. And the selected candidate must be vaccinated according to the required immunizations for the Area of Operation of the work assignment or able and willing to receive the required immunizations prior to deployment to the work assignment location.
• Must have sufficient unaided hearing to perform duties safely, hear and wake up to emergency alarms unaided, and hear instructions in the absence of visual cues such as lip reading. If an applicant does not meet this requirement, Speech Recognition in Noise Test (SPRINT) or equivalent testing is required along with an approved waiver pursuant to CENTCOM MOD 17, Section 15, TAB A.
• Must be able to work under stressful circumstances and meet short suspense dates.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must be free of medical restriction/ limitations that prevent the performance of required duties and/ or prevent the wearing and utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Must be physically capable of performing the work in conditions of extreme temperatures, low humidity, rain and blowing sand and dust.
• May be required to work on uncommon hours of duty, extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Employees shall utilize all proper lifting procedures and practices associated with all lifting and material handling tasks that are assigned and associated with this job description.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, crawl and climb as necessary to perform job functions using proper techniques and PPE for extended periods unassisted.
