The primary purpose of the position is to serve as the Supervisory Regional Sector Outreach Coordinator (RSOC) assigned to one of the ten CISA Regional Offices and responsible for coordinating all outreach efforts within the Region.
Typical work assignments include, but are not limited to:
- Lead coordination efforts to integrate stakeholder outreach activities for CISA programs that engage State, Local, Tribal, Territorial (SLTT) governments, the private sector, public-private partnerships, and academia within the Region.
- Supervise and oversee the functions and staff of the Regional Outreach Branch, including strategic planning initiatives, performance metrics development and tracking, and training and exercises development and delivery.
- Develop and implement regional engagement strategies that prioritize outreach efforts related to reducing and mitigating risk specific to the Region.
- Coordinate and work closely with HQ program elements to coordinate the delivery of CISA capabilities, resources, products, tools, information, etc.
- Integrate and coordinate region-level outreach-related activities in order to inform and advise senior leadership on regional critical infrastructure security operations.
- Assist field staff in organizing, prioritizing, and conducting sector-specific outreach activities.
