Data Analyst/Tableau Developer
U.S. citizenship required per government contract
Must be able to obtain DHS Public Trust clearance (2-3 month process)
W2 ONLY, NO C2C

Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain reports for person-centric records by creating queries to production data and provide to the user in a spreadsheet or through Tableau.
• Create dashboards and other interfaces for reporting and analysis using Tableau, Access, Excel, R, Python, and ArcGIS.
• Develop and maintain consistent data sets in Oracle Database and MongoDB database, and to help integrate all data from various data sources into reportable sets of data.
• Gather and scrutinize data using specialist tools to generate information that helps others make decisions.
• Respond to questions about data and look for trends, patterns and anomalies within it.
• Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures.
• Conduct work simplification and measurement studies.
• Prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
• Use specialist tools to extract the data needed.
• Respond and track data-related queries.
• Analyze data to identify trends.
• Set up processes and systems to make working with data more efficient.
• Research new ways to make use of data.
• Produce reports and charts communicating trends within data to non-specialists.
• Present information generated from data to clients and managers.
• Gather data requirements, understand how data requirements are implemented from a technical standpoint and how it will affect the requirement.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in the data analysis field as described.
• Must have hands-on, professional on-the-job experience creating Tableau reports and dashboards, as well as working with Oracle Databases.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in information systems, Business or related field.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability Public Trust 6C (High Risk) clearance.

Preferred Skills and Certifications:
• Experience managing platform admin functionalities including installations/configuration, upgrades, patches, change management, performance tuning, standards/best practices, mentoring, metadata management
• Experience with gathering and documenting requirements, with an understand on how requirements are implemented from a technical standpoint and how it will affect data
• Experience with unit testing, peer testing, and functional qualification testing to ensure report request, dashboards, and data sources requirement are met
• Experience with the testing business requirements during functional, regression, and product owner testing phase and identifying any deficiencies
• Experience with ArcGIS to conduct geocoding and publish AcrGIS map dashboards
