Project Controls Analyst

That's why we need you, an experienced finan cia l analyst who can help support a team in navigating the requirements, policies , and regulations that govern the complex project controls process for our client.
As a Project Controls Analyst on our team, you'll maintain responsibility for a wide variety of detailed finan cia l and administrative activities for moderate-to-large sized programs, organizations, or proposals. You'll perform detailed finan cia l and program control activities, including budget analysis, reporting, estimating, and analysis for full contract life cycle support. You'll assist in preparing budget s, authorizing budget expenditures, and provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed for the firm. You'll participate in budget preparation, monitor expenses, perform cost and schedule variance analysis, and provide resulting recommendations. You'll prepare the cost-to-complete, including supporting estimates and contract deliverables, resp ond to contract and program data calls, and participate in contract terms and c ond itions and statement of work reviews. Prepare detailed finan cia l program management reviews and provide a status of key performance metrics for the firm. You'll anticipate and resp ond to customer needs and serve as a primary point of contact for customers. Join us as we help make a difference.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $105,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 2+ years of experience with finan cia l management or in a finan cia l program control environment
- Experience using Micro sof t Office programs, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of using Excel formulas and functions in calculation and analysis
- Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and finan cia l issues independently and as part of a team, set priorities that balance service and control, and manage and track multiple initiatives
- Ability to be a team player, work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing requirements
- Ability to accomplish finan cia l forecasts based on bottoms-up analysis and historical trends
- Ability to thi nk analytically and c ond uct trend analysis
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with all contract types
- Experience with government contracting
- Experience with finan cia l modeling, including funding analyses and cost and revenue projections
- Ability to identify program risks, assist with asso cia ted mitigation plans, and assist with identifying and prioritizing requirements
- Ability to collect and analyze data from multiple sources, summarize it, and read and interpret contractual requirements appropriately
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
