Sr. Software Developer

Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Philadelphia, PA. The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including designing, developing, and deploying systems, as well as supporting ongoing operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of information systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide full software development lifecycle (SDLC) support for Naval Surface Warfare Center's Information Systems, including design, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Lead and support the migration of information systems to the Cloud, including architecture, design, development, utilization, authorization, maintenance, and operational support.
• Perform comprehensive Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) for various information systems, evaluating options and making recommendations for solutions.
• Apply User-Centered Design (UCD) techniques to create and implement intuitive Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs).
• Utilize Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, and NetBeans for system design and Cloud deployment implementation.
• Maintain configuration management and version control for all development and operational code, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Develop, implement, and manage automated testing processes (functional, regression, security, and performance) within a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Integrate with platforms/products such as ServiceNow to streamline operations and improve system functionality.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/DevOps environment to ensure efficient and effective software delivery.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on software development.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including significant work with cloud migration and cloud-based systems.
• Proven expertise in supporting cloud migration and cloud operations, including architecture, design, development, and deployment.
• Strong experience applying User-Centered Design (UCD) methodologies to develop user-friendly and functional Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs).
• Experience with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, and NetBeans.
• Expertise in designing and implementing systems for Cloud-based environments.
• Proficient in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong experience conducting Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) to assess various system options and make informed recommendations.
• A current U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Experience with enterprise solutions such as SharePoint and ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with incorporating AI/ML into software solutions for enhanced functionality and automation.
• Agile Certification or other relevant professional certifications.
