The position involves overseeing a network of infrastructure servers and a CM repository to assist the team. Key tasks include ensuring the operation and maintenance (O&M) of these systems, managing the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process, and automating the delivery of tools.
Responsibilities include supporting the automated release of operating systems (OS) and tools for the team. This involves maintaining environments with regular software updates and patches, performing operational and maintenance (O&M) tasks, and handling Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities such as security scans, patching, and maintaining security controls and documentation. Additional duties include managing a GitLab repository, creating program plans for stakeholder awareness, performing routine backups, and maintaining offline archives. The role also requires setting up test environments for software tools, integrating them into the supported baseline, and developing system documentation to ensure efficient use of the environments and tools.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in administering both Linux and Windows systems.
Experience in installing, maintaining, and delivering servers and workstations in both physical and virtual environments for Linux and Windows.
Basic experience in managing infrastructure services like DHCP, NTP, DNS, backups, and user account setup and maintenance.
Basic experience with local virtual infrastructure administration (e.g., VMware, Proxmox, VirtualBox).
Experience in documenting system processes, including System Security Plans (SSPs), requirements, and architecture.
