Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of engineering plans for ground and space systems, addressing current operational needs and integrating future advancements.
- Provide technical oversight for network operations, ensuring adherence to system-level agreements and compliance with performance benchmarks.
- Oversee risk assessments, identifying technical vulnerabilities, and implementing effective mitigations.
- Manage configuration control processes to ensure consistency, reliability, and lifecycle optimization across systems.
- Lead technical responses to system challenges, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve mission success.
- Drive the adoption of advanced and emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities and performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 10 years of experience leading systems engineering efforts for large-scale programs.
- Expertise in managing complex networks and ground systems for space operations.
- Familiarity with risk management methodologies and lifecycle optimization strategies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance up to TS SCI.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent.
- Experience with advanced communication and navigation systems, including integration of emerging technologies.
- Knowledge of space geodetic systems or related high-precision infrastructure.
