Cyber Security Manager

ASRC Federal is seeking a Security Manager - Complex Space Networks

This role is located in the Beltsville, MD area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cybersecurity plans, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Oversee incident response protocols, penetration tests, and security audits to maintain system integrity.
• Implement robust access controls, data protection measures, and security protocols for high-risk infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to integrate security best practices into system development and operations.
• Proactively manage cybersecurity risks and address vulnerabilities to ensure mission continuity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related technical field (Masters preferred).
• At least 8 years of experience in IT security management for mission-critical systems.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
• Proven ability to develop and enforce comprehensive cybersecurity policies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance up to the TS/SCI level.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with communication systems and navigation networks.
• Experience with high-risk infrastructure and critical systems protection.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills for managing IT security teams and protocols.

This position is offering a pay range of $145,000 - $230,000 depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law.
