As an Action Officer, you'll bring your Joint, Service, or Combatant Command Staff experience, as well as your staff operations expertise, to work on projects for our defense intelligence clients. You'll support day-to-day activities in the operations section, including resp ond ing to taskings from higher headquarters, preparing orders, coordinating with other staff sections, and coordinating and synchronizing the daily operations of senior leaders and staff members. You'll be a t rus ted advisor to our clients, and we'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies , processes, and integrate and synchronize operational requirements and daily staff operations.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience as functional staff within an Intelligence Directorate or Division, including on a Joint, Service, or Combatant Command Staff
- Experience developing corresp ond ence, scheduling and running meetings, managing issues and action items, analyzing information for trends, and consolidating information for senior-level awareness and decision-making
- Experience preparing and disseminating operational orders, fragmentary orders, and other operational documents with intelligence operations and activities equities
- Knowledge of military planning processes and methodologies, including joint planning publications, authorities, and permissions
- Ability to manage high-priority tasks, meet deadlines, deliver under pressure, and pay strict attention to detail
- TS / SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree, Asso cia te's degree and 9+ years of experience functional staff within an Intelligence Directorate or Division, or HS diploma or GED and 11+ years of experience as functional staff within an Intelligence Directorate or Division
Nice If You Have:
- 3+ years of experience working directly with the U.S. Army
- Experience with Joint Planning at the Combatant Command Level
- Knowledge of Indo-Pacific strategic initiatives
- Ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts through excellent verbal and written communication skills
- JPME Level 1 Certification
- Project Management Professional Certification
