Job Title: Golang / ReactJS Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: 05+ Months +(Possible extension)

Job Description:
As a Golang / ReactJS Developer, you will be a key contributor to our frontend development team, collaborating on the design and implementation of modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications. Provides direct support to client user interface for applicant completion of PVQ testing and validation of PVQ applications. This is development enhancement of an existing application using GoLang and React JS.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement user interfaces for web applications using ReactJS and/or Golang.
2. Build and develop XML Samples and appropriate XSD based on requirements and an understanding of the various standards for design and data analysis and exchange.
3. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into functional components.
4. Write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with best practices.
5. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
6. Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
7. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend issues and bugs.
8. Collaborates with cross-functional engineering and development teams in the planning, design, development, and utilization of Cloud-based capabilities for the development, modification, and deployment of commercial-of-the-shelf (COTS) software.
9. Confers with systems engineers, and cross-functional teams to design software and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
10. Coordinates software testing and deployment to ensure specifications are met.
Requirements:
1. Requires minimum 12 years with BS or 10 years with MS
2. Proven experience as a ReactJS and/or Golang developer, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
3. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and familiarity with ECMAScript standards.
4. Solid understanding of state management, component lifecycle, and React Hooks.
5. Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
6. Familiarity with frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
7. Strong analytical skills, specializing in cloud-based software development.
8. Working knowledge of Agile Methodologies
9. Experience with modernization of an IT system or program and transformation to the cloud
10. Experience with CI/CD automation, and/or DevSecOps practices to increase delivery velocity
11. Experience using Jira and Confluence; developing user stories and identifying features based on client requirements.
12. Must be proactive in a fast-paced Agile environment providing timely deliverables.
13. Demonstrated ability to explain technical issues clearly/accurately to technical/non-technical audiences, excellent communication skills.
14. Achieve operational excellence by automating processes and creating maintainable, supportable and testable solutions.
15. Ability to foster collaborative relationships with customers, teaming partners and cross-functional teams, resolve customer issues quickly and accurately.
16. Contribute to culture of continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
2. Previous experience in optimizing and improving frontend performance.
3. Familiarity with design patterns and best practices in frontend development.
4. Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
