Strategic Analysis (SA) is seeking a well-rounded individual to satisfy a requirement for a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) Coordinator position for the ACO.
Responsibilities:
• Lead planning and support execution of unclassified and classified Department of Defense research programs through managing the broad agency announcement and procurement process
• Scale of duties typically includes 2 - 4 BAAs at a time, along with 40 - 60 proposal responses with the corresponding need for at least three reviewers (internal and external to the government agency) per proposal
• Requires the use of internal tools and databases for proposal review tracking and broad agency announcement generation
• Technical writing duties of the job include review of broad agency announcements, proposal technical assessments, research approach, and cost realism
• Responsible for routing of documents through established processes agency-wide, including research department leadership, contracting, legal, and other support office functions
• Iterative generation of reports detailing proposals received and review outcomes
• Exercise on-the-fly problem solving and critical thinking skills to address challenges or unanticipated circumstances that come with research solicitations and the acquisition process
• Organize and collaborate with program support teams to plan for and support program solicitation and source selection activities at a high level of execution and precision
Requirements:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with staff, peers, and the government client in a team environment
• Strong client support skills with proven ability to monitor and uphold high quality of customer service, coordinating with a variety of stakeholders (government and program support teams)
• Commitment to excellence and attention to detail on assignments of a varied, diverse and a sometimes-difficult nature
• Exceptional time-management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple/concurrent projects under tight deadlines
• Multi-tasking and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt to change
• Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel, and the ability to learn new computer programs efficiently
• Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and coordination/communication above all else
• 3 + years of relevant experience
• 100% availability to work on-site in Arlington, VA
